Extremely Empty “Kwaku Ananse” Budget!!!

Years ago, when “Kwaku Ananse” stories were the in-thing; it was always enjoyable listening to all those tales and learning the lessons of life.

I am yet to come across a single Kwaku Ananse story that ended with Ananse not being exposed and made a laughing stock.

Kwaku Ananse; The Lies-telling spider.

In all the Ananse stories, Kwaku Ananse always started-off as the smartest Alec on earth; but at the end of each story, he always ended up making a big fool of himself.

It is amazing how the NPP Government led by Nana Akufo-Addo, has decided to turn itself into a Kwaku Ananse Government.

Akufo-Addo laughing and having fun while Ghana is being destroyed by his clueless Government.

As I have put out time without number, I never expected the nation to walk up any paths of visionary leadership in the any unlikely event that Nana Akufo-Addo made it to the highest seat of the Land.

As if to vindicate my line of thinking, Nana Akufo-Addo and his clueless government made up of, family, friends, cronies, and concubines, is working very hard to convince every right-thinking Ghanaian that it was a BIG MISTAKE to gamble with the destiny of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana by allowing a bunch of know-nothings to take over the reins of leadership.

The in-charge; Family, friends, cronies, and concubines.

What the heck did Ken Ofori-Atta think he was doing when he appeared before Parliament to supposedly read the budget statement for the 2018 fiscal year?

Did Ken Ofori-Atta really think he was cutting a solid image for himself via that extremely shambolic performance?

Did Ken Ofori-Atta think he did himself any good via the blatant lies that he spewed?

I ask again; what the heck did Ken Ofori-Atta think he was doing when he appeared before Parliament to supposedly present the budget statement?

When I saw Vice President Bawumia sit and nod sheepishly at the kamikaze Kwaku Ananase budget statement being read by Ken Ofori-Atta, I wept in my spirit for this dear nation of ours.

What irked me the most; was the precious time that was spent once again telling the nation some needless and useless story about the family of Nana Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori-Atta.

Did I not predict that Ken Ofori-Atta will waste our time telling us stories about his ancestry?

Two days before the budget statement was read, I predicted on the airwaves that Ken Ofori-Atta will swim in an extremely nauseating sea of, ethnocentrism and tribal bigotry, and that is exactly what he did.

In his maiden appearance before Parliament to read this year’s budget statement, Ken Ofori-Atta shocked the nation when he spent copious time talking about his Akyem Abuakwa ancestry and painting a supremacist picture of his Ofori-Atta, Danquah, genealogical tree.

The tribal bigotry of Ken Ofori-Atta was shocking to the extent that, until his appearance in Parliament to do what he did, people accorded him some modicum of respect by thinking that because of his educational level and contrived demeanour, he was someone who lived above tribal bigotry and ethnicity.

As it things stand now, it is as clear as daylight that Ken Ofori-Atta is also a strong adherent of the Akyem Abuakwa supremacist tunnel-vision mind-set, hence his revolting continues mention of his family tree when he appears before Parliament to read his lethargic budget statements.

When Ken Ofori-Atta tells us that the headless government of his cousin Nana Akufo-Addo, loves Ghanaians so much that there will be no introduction of new taxes, does he think he is talking to a bunch of simpletons?

Did Bawumia not make so much noise about how an NPP Government under the watch of Nana Akufo-Addo will abolish all the taxes introduced by the John Mahama-led  NDC Government?

If Ken Ofori-Atta is now telling us that the NPP Government will maintain the Fiscal Stabilisation Levy and the Special Import Levy, what it means is that, the NPP is introducing new taxes because both taxes have “SUNSET CLAUSES”.

That is to say, when both taxes were introduced under the watch of the President John Dramani Mahama-led, NDC Government, the taxes were to be abolished at the end of 2017.

If the NPP is telling us that they are keeping both taxes till 2019 as mentioned by Ken Ofori-Atta, then the NPP is most definitely introducing new taxes because they will have to send a new bill to Parliament in order to get the constitutional approval to re-introduce both taxes.

Also, the senseless budget had no schedules giving the much-needed details of, Revenue, Expenditure, and Financing.

The Finance Minister also did not provide any information about the monies that he will be allocating to the various sectors and agencies.

The most senselessly comical aspect of Ken Ofori-Atta’s kamikaze Kwaku Ananse budget, is his infantile attempt to hide the real debt of the nation as at the time he was speaking in Parliament.

Look of shock on the face of Hon Bagbin as Ken Ofori-Atta lied.

Just like Kwaku Ananse, Ken Ofori-Atta thought he was outsmarting the rest of us with his fake figures about the national debt.

In a typical Kwaku Ananse manner, Ken Ofori-Atta made no mention of all the debts they have accrued in the last 10 months; especially, the most recent debt vis-à-vis the recent bond floatation.

If Ken Ofori-Atta wants us to believe that the NPP Government is not borrowing heavily and at very exorbitant rates, why the increment in National Interest Charges from GHC 13.9 Billion in 2017, to GHC 14.9 Billion in 2018?

If it is the case that there are no borrowings and it is only NDC debts that are being paid-off, why is the total Interest payment going up by as much as GHC 1 Billion?  It just tells you that the NPP is not only borrowing, but borrowing at exorbitant interest rates hence the quantum leap in the interest charges of the nation.

So, who is going to contribute to the unwise so-called Voluntary Fund that is intended to support the senseless Free Form One secondary education?

Does it make sense for the NPP to introduce a senseless populist policy of banning the payment of PTA dues; but go-ahead to say they are introducing a Voluntary Fund?

Is it not absolute nonsense to prevent parents and guardians from paying a token as PTA dues to support the upkeep of their children and wards, but go around and be asking non-parents to contribute to some faceless Voluntary Fund which will be used to supposedly cater for children unknown to them?

What “koraaa” is wrong with these NPP elephants?

Why are they in such a hurry to destroy Ghana’s educational sector?

Free SHS booming under trees.

If Nana Akufo-Addo is in a hurry to fail as President; that is his own cup of tea.  But for goodness sake, he should not be in a hurry to destroy Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.

As for the senseless tale about providing 100,000 jobs in 2018, the least said about it the better.

President Akuffo-Addo chilling with his family, friends, cronies and concubines.

How are they going to provide the jobs?

In which sectors of the economy will the jobs be provided?

I heard Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu say that the jobs will be provided in the Agriculture sector under the Planting for Food and Jobs.

Honestly, I could not stop laughing when I heard Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu.

So, they want us to go into the farms to be counting the number of graduate students who will be hired as farm labourers?  Ah! Ah! Ah!

At the end of it all, who did Ken Ofori-Atta think he was fooling via the self-adulating kamikaze Kwaku Ananse budget statement he read?

Even Kennedy Agyepong knows the budget was senseless.

So, did Ken Ofori-Atta think that sensible Ghanaians will not see through all his Kwaku Ananse tactics which has exposed him to gross ridicule?

Hugging themselves for lying to Ghanaians.

As I stated at the beginning of this write-up, Kwaku Ananse always seems to be the wisest person at the commencement of the stories, but ends up running to hide his shame and disgrace in ONE CORNER at the end of the stories.

Well, in like manner, Ken Ofori-Atta may have begun reading his verbose-but-empty self-adulating budget thinking that he was as shrewd and cunning as Kwaku Ananse; but he ended up pouring tons of embarrassment and ignominy on himself via the emptiness showcased as well as the LIES that fell from his lips.

Just like Kwaku Ananse, Ken Ofori-Atta has ended up in ONE CORNER of being a discredited public figure.

As much as I cry for this dear nation of ours, I am extremely elated that majority of Ghanaians are fast waking up to the reality and VOWING that NEVER AGAIN shall they allow any bunch of tribal bigots and self-seeking, family, friends, cronies, and concubines, to assume the reins of leadership and turn this country upside down.

I rest my case for now and pray we can meet again same time next week under the shade-giving Umbrella.

I honestly cannot believe that we have lost Asempa FM’s Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (aka KABA).

I personally visited the offices of Multimedia to commiserate with them and I was hit with the hard truth when it was officially confirmed to me that KABA is gone to be with his ancestors.

Life oooo life!!!  Hmmmmm!!!!

So KABA is gone never to return?

My deepest condolences to the family of KABA and the young widow as well as the eight month old baby girl.

KABA, may your journey to the Land of your ancestors be safe and smooth.

Fare thee well KABA: we shall meet again sometime someday when the Almighty wills it so.

Carrying Corruption In A Disgraceful Palanquin!!!

I have had to sigh deeply because, in as much as I never expected Nana Akufo-Addo to achieve anything of positive significance should he ever become President, I am amazed at the high level to which he is flying his despicable leadership flag of Incompetence and Impotence.

I am amazed because I thought that in this day and age of enlightenment, stealing will be done in a more organised manner and with much more finesse and style.

Somehow, Nana Akufo-Addo has surrounded himself with, Family, Friends, Cronies, and Concubines, and under his watch, corruption is now being GLORIFIED without any sense of shame nor remorse.

When the NPP was in opposition, no opportunity was lost to drag the name of the NDC in the mud of corruption.

The NPP succeeded in tagging the NDC with corruption and there is no denying the fact that, the NDC lost a lot of electoral grounds because of its inability to fend off the corruption attacks waged by the NPP.

When, in the face of the glorification of, thievery, stealing, looting, nepotism, cronyism, corruption, hooliganism, and the breakdown of law and order vis-à-vis the utterances of the NPP when they were in opposition, an allusion is made to George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the NPP decides to be extremely barmy about the analogy.

Every average mind knows the story of the Animal Farm and so I do not see why Bawumia and his NPP acolytes should be angry about their current actions and inactions being likened to what happened in the Animal Farm after the Pigs led the Revolution and took-over power.

After the pigs took-over power, they did worse things than they accused the farm owners of doing.

In like manner, the NPP is doing worse than they accused the NDC of doing so if their actions are being likened to the actions of the pigs in Animal Farm, why all the hue and cry?

It is only the NPP simpletons who will get lost in a labyrinth of misty theories and postulations over a literary reference to how the pigs in George Orwell’s Animal Farm, became more corrupt than the human beings who used to own the Farm.

“Four Legs good; two legs bad”, is an everyday phraseology and I laugh when I hear the simpletons in the NPP scream and soil their pants in their banal and barmy attempt to say that they are being called pigs.

Of course, if they feel they are behaving like pigs and so are hurt that some allusion has been made to pigs, that is their own cup of bitter tea to drink.

Is it not a fact that Akufo-Addo and his ilk referred to the former NDC Administration as one that was made up of Family and Friends?

What are we witnessing today under the watch of Nana Akufo-Addo?

Assuming without admitting that the former NDC Administration was loaded with Family and Friends, is what we are witnessing today not worse than what was supposed to have existed in the past?

Nepotism and cronyism are forms of corruption and that is the extent to which Nana Akufo-Addo is carrying corruption in a DISGRACEFUL PALANQUIN.

Just look at how Nana Akufo-Addo has surrounded himself with his Family, Friends, Cronies, and Concubines:

1. Ken Ofori Atta – Finance Minister – Cousin

2. Nana Asante Bedietuor – Secretary To The President – Cousin

3. Sophia Akufo – Chief Justice – Cousin

4. Gloria Akufo – Attorney General – Cousin

5. Gabby Otchere-Darko – Defacto Prime Minister – Cousin

6. Samuel Atta Akyea – Minister for Works & Housing – Cousin

7. K. Amoako-Atta – Minister for Roads – Cousin

8. Gyankoma Akufo-Addo – Creative Arts Council – Daughter

9. Nana Adjoa Hackman – GNPC Board – Gabby’s Wife

10. Ama Busia – Envoy To Brazil – Ex-Concubine

11. Virginia Hesse – Envoy To Czech Republic – Mother of Akufo-Addo’s First Daughter

The above, is only a tip of the iceberg as far as the disgraceful corruption-laden, Family, Friends, Cronies, and Concubines, Akufo-Addo-led NPP Administration is being carried aloft without any form of shame in an extremely disgraceful palanquin.

In all the State Institutions, Akufo-Addo has his Family, Friends, Cronies, and Concubines, littered all over the place.

Have we so soon forgotten how the Ghana @ 60 Anniversary Committee was made-up of Ofori-Attas and people from Kyebi?

A cursory look at the Financial Sector points strongly to how Ken Ofori-Atta and his Databank “boys and girls” have hijacked the sector and obviously doing things that will inure solely to their benefit and not to the benefit of Ghana.

If you consider the hefty amount of money that was wasted on the roadshow for the current bond that did not catch the attention of investors and so did not meet its required target, it tells a vivid story of how Ken Ofori-Atta and  his friends travelled abroad to go and lavishly spend the taxpayers money “waa waa waa”.

Of course, the inability of Ken Ofori-Atta to make a full disclosure on the $2.25billion KENBOND, amplifies the fact that, Ghana’s financial sector is being run by a cabal that is out to use all kinds of white collar vehicles to steal monies and fatten their bank accounts.

If it is true that Databank was really suffering from cash crises for a number of years because of the misuse of investor funds to support Akufo-Addos’ failed bids in 2008 and 2012 to win political power, then the appointment of Ken Ofori-Atta as Finance Minister, and the loading of Ghana’s financial sector with his cronies, speaks volumes of how they have an agenda of using the machinery of state to make money and stash away funds.

If it is true that Ken Ofori-Atta too has Presidential ambitions and hopes to take-over from Akufo-Addo, then we now understand why they are in a hurry to make money through any means possible and so do not care if they are hoisting high the flag of corruption and carrying corruption in a DISGRACEFUL PALANQUIN.

Keli Gadzekpo, Board Member, Bank Of Ghana, and Board Chair of ECG, co-founded Databank with Ken Ofori-Atta.

Yoofi Grant, CEO of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, is a Former Vice President of Data Bank.

Daniel Ogbamey Tetteh, Director General of Securities and Exchange Commission, is a Former Vice President of Databank.

Deila Awo Asimeh, Board Member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, is a former Company Secretary of Databank.

Ernest Akore, Board Member of Ghana Revenue Authority, is a Former Non-Executive Director of Databank.

Sampson Aglikor, Head of Financial Services Division of Ministry of Finance, is a former Vice President of Databank.

Ntiwaa Daaku Kwakye, who also worked at Databank, is now a Special Assistant to Ken Ofori-Atta at the Finance Ministry.

Felicia Gyamfi Ashley, who was also head of Human Resources at Databank, is now on the Entity Tender Committee of the Finance Ministry.

Eno Ofori-Atta, Deputy Managing Director of SIC Financial Services Limited, is a sister-in-law of Ken Ofori-Atta.

Michael Asare Bediako, who is a brother to Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, is a Special Assistant to Ken Ofori-Atta.

The list goes on and on!

How can anybody convince any right-thinking person not to believe that all the nauseating cronyism and nepotism that is going on under the watch of Nana Akufo-Addo, is not inspired by a very greedy agenda to, loot and plunder the nation’s wealth?

This is certainly the best definition for; CREATE, LOOT, AND SHARE!!!

It is ipso facto that, Nana Akufo-Addo and his gang are out to make money through any means possible and enrich themselves through any means possible.

It is also ipso facto that the agenda is to only amass wealth and make sure that even after they have been booted out of power in 2020, they will still possess a lot of wealth.

All the attempt to sell off, ECG, GRIDCO and VRA, is to ensure that they sell such strategic state assets to themselves through friends and cronies so that after they have been booted out of power, they will still be in control of such assets and can afford to sabotage successive governments.  They lie bad!!!

They have forgotten that after they have been booted out of power, there will be a Special Prosecutor who will deal mercilessly with them.

The NPP’s corruption is not sitting only in the disgraceful palanquin of Nana Akufo-Addo and his civilian family, friends, cronies, and concubines: the corruption has seeped into every facet of the Ghanaian society.

Per very credible information being picked up, almost all the Security Agencies are now reeling under the heavy weight of corruption.

With the flag of corruption flying high at the Seat of Government without any sense of shame, men in uniform who have thrown their professionalism to the wind, are also busy engaging all manner of corrupt acts.

Are we not hearing that there may soon be some form of mutiny in the Police Service because some Top Officers are chopping the Welfare Funds of the Junior Ranks “nyafu nyafu”?

Are we not hearing that some top officers in the police service are hiding official vehicles and planning to auction such vehicles to themselves and thereby depriving the Service of vehicles to function properly and fight crime?

Are we not hearing that the recruitment exercises into the Ghana Armed Forces is fraught with all kinds of unacceptable underhand dealings and denying qualified persons the opportunity to be enlisted?

Does this not remind us of what a certain Colonel Damoah used to do in the days of Kufuor as President and Addo Kufuor as Defence Minister?

History certainly has a very harming way of repeating itself sometimes.

My brothers and sisters, “… deep in my heart I do believe that we shall overcome someday”.

I will end here for now and hope we can meet again same time next week under the shade-giving Umbrella.

Hastaluego Amigos.

Koku Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary (NDC)

Founder/CEO, Atta-Mills Institute (AMI).

Since When Did Some Ghanaians Become More Ghanaian Than Others?

I ask: Where did we go wrong as a nation?

What did we do so wrong so as to have incurred the wrath of some strange and dangerous Evil spirits that are operating through the current Government and fast-eating up the soul of Mother Ghana?

Did we anger God in any way?

Is Ghana undergoing the draconian Nebuchadnezzar rule that the biblical Babylonians went through?

What is it that we have done so wrong as a nation such that we have had to contend with this heavy curse that has been hanging heavily around the neck of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana since the NDC handed over a peaceful nation to the Akufo-Addo led NPP on, January, 07, 2017?

What is all this foolhardy agenda of trying to create some ethnic/tribal/political party hegemony in Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana?

Under the misrule of Akufo-Addo; have we suddenly gone back to the obnoxious Orwellian days of, “Four legs good, Two legs bad?”

What the heck is going on in Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana?

Since, January 07, 2017, when the NDC handed over to the Akufo-Addo led NPP, they have lost no opportunity to let the rest of us know that they have come to pursue and build an ethnic/tribal hegemony; and that they have not come to build a Better Ghana.

When, during his maiden State of the Nations Address, Nana Akufo-Addo announced to the nation that “… Mr. Speaker, I am in hurry …”; apparently, he was telling us that he is in a hurry to establish his family/ethnic/tribal hegemony and divide Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana. Period!!!!

From day one, when Nana Akufo-Addo disrespected International Protocol and sat (he should have been on his feet) like an ordained monarch of Ghana and received congratulatory handshakes from his visiting colleague Heads of state, he has never hidden the fact that he has a reckless agenda of foisting himself and his ethnic group/s on the rest of us.

Not a day passes by without the nation waking up to one revolting story or the other about some small-minded bigots openly displaying their pea-brained agenda.

Apart from filling all important positions in the public sector with his family, friends and cronies, the most despicable aspect of the suffocating 10 months of Nana Akufo-Addo’s despotic rule, is the attempt to foist his uncle, J.B. Danquah, on the nation, as the Founder of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.

J.B. Danquah; Founder of Ghana? Torfiakwa!!!!!

How dare anybody try to obfuscate and befuddle issues and attempt to reduce the stoic image of the Great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah when it comes to the Gold Coast’s struggle for Independence; and the birth of Mother Ghana?

Akufo-Addo and his handful of tribal and ethnic bigots can no longer hide their bigotry and so they have let loose one of the most moronic elements in their midst known as George Ayisi-Boateng to spew out insane words that are worse than the words that led to the Rwandan Genocide.

Who cut the skull of Ayisi-Boateng, and plant it into his dead brain cells that, some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others?

So, is Ayisi-Boateng saying that he is more Ghanaian than, JJ Rawlings, John Evans Atta Mills, and John Dramani Mahama?

Is that what Ayisi-Boateng is telling us?  Ah! Ah! Ah!

So, under the divisive rule of Akufo-Addo, we are being told that “some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others”? Lord have mercy!!!

With this kind of holocaust mentality, is it any wonder that under the misrule of Akuffo-Addo, all kinds of terrorist groups are operating with impunity and maiming and destroying state property because they have been fed with some evil potion which makes them believe that they are above the laws of Ghana?

It is now as clear as daylight that, all the, terrorism, hooliganism, gangsterism, that is going on; is sponsored by Akufo-Addo and his IMPOTENT Administration.

As has become his divisive stock-in-trade; Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, has kept a stony silence over the nation-wrecking and extremely thoughtless statements of Ayisi-Boateng.

From his days as Opposition Leader, Akufo-Addo has never condemned any beastly acts/utterances of his goon squads and braindead robot-like lackeys.

Akufo-Addo chooses to hear no evil nor see any evil when his operatives unleash the kinds of mayhem that defiles the soul of the Motherland.

As the saying goes; “fish rots from its head”.

That is to say, if Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is shamelessly swimming and drowning himself in seas of, nepotism, cronyism, and tribal bigotry, why will a buffoon like Ayisi-Boateng not open his mouth and engage in such incendiary discourse?

I heard Ayisi-Boateng boast on air that he has no regret for letting loose his tongue and that, he will not retract nor apologise.

Why should Ayisi-Boateng apologise when it is obvious that he had the backing of the President at the time of vomiting his insulting words.

Indeed, it would be one of the wonders of the world if Nana Akufo-Addo is able to run away from his IMPOTENT leadership style and recall Ayisi-Boateng as Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa.

We are having to contend with the most IMPOTENT Administration since the creation of Ghana in 1957, and I shall be surprised to the marrow if Nana Akufo-Addo plucks the courage to sanction George Ayisi-Boateng.

We are dealing with people who have no honour and so why should we expect them to apologise for making comments that insult the sensibilities of a majority of Ghanaians?

They know they lied their way to power and therefore consider Ghanaians to be a bunch of stupid people who fell for their incoherent lies and impotent propaganda.

Now that we are being told that some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others; would it be wrong for the ‘lesser’ Ghanaians to move out of Ghana and look for other places where they can be treated as First Class citizens?

So, those people in the Volta Region who are talking about seceding; are they wrong in doing so if it has now been officially confirmed by the IMPOTENT NPP Government that “some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others”?

In the run-up to the 2016 elections, Bawumia led the NPP’s crusade of lying that the voters register in the Volta Region was over-bloated with Togolese.

Akufo-Addo himself lied that the Voters Register was over-bloated with over 1 million foreigners, and so the Register had become an ECOWAS Register and no longer a Ghanaian Register.

So, after lying about Volta Region being populated by Togolese; and Ayisi-Boateng now unwisely saying “some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others”, is that not a heavy impetus for the Group in the Volta Region to intensify its move to secede?

If Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is condoning the extremely inflammatory language of Ayisi-Boateng, why should some people not be allowed to pursue their secessionist agenda?

If people are now being told openly that they are second and third class Ghanaians; why should they not be looking for places to go so that they can also live like first class citizens?

Personally, I never expected anything fantastic from Nana Akufo-Addo; but I least expected that he will be so reckless so as to want to balkanise Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana in such a crude manner.

With this kind of dangerous mind-set, I am not surprised that there is blatant discrimination going on in most State Institutions against persons from certain ethnic extractions.

Especially in the Military and other Security Agencies, persons with certain SURNAMES have been relegated to the background and are being treated like 10th class citizens.

Way back in the late 1950s did we not enact the Avoidance of Discrimination Act?

Is Akufo-Addo not supposed to be a human rights lawyer and a freedom fighter?

And he is now sinking Mother Ghana in the sea of discrimination and supremacist nation-wrecking thinking?  It is such a big shame!!!

The invidious nature of the senseless supremacist policy of this NPP Administration does not portend well for the cohesion of this dear country of ours and some of us will fight it with all the vehemence that God shall grant us to continue with the liberation struggle.

So, when Akufo-Addo and his bigots are no more in power after the 2020 elections which they SHALL surely lose, will they have the moral authority to cry for help if they are being discriminated against?

I know it for a fact that there are many right-thinking and well-meaning persons within the NPP who are very upset with Akufo-Addo and his assigns for the kinds of disgusting things/utterances that are being churned out.

Yes; there are many people within the NPP who are regretting voting for Nana Akufo-Addo because he is creating lots of credibility problems for the NPP and once they exit in 2020, it will take them donkey years to win back the confidence of Ghanaians.

I know it for a fact that the recent senseless story carried by Fredie Blay and Gina Blay’s Daily Guide – which was meant to bring the solid reputation of the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, into deep disrepute, has seriously angered many Ashantes and they shall never forgive the Evil Forces within Akufo-Addo’s cabal, who engaged in that sordid act.

How dare Daily Guide publish such a malicious story about the Asantehene?

Is it because the Asantehene wisely advised Akufo-Addo to watch his steps and his ways and not take the mandate of Ghanaians for granted, that is why an evil plan was hatched and executed by the Daily Guide to drag the image of Otumfuor Osei Tutu II into the gutters?

Freddie Blay is enjoying “waa waa waa” as the Acting Chairman of NPP and Board Chairman of GNPC, and his wife Gina Blay is Ambassador to Germany and so they are having a good time and just recklessly publishing lots of falsehood to satisfy their paymaster.

Well, in due course, Freddie Blay and Gina Blay will pay a very high price for the kinds of senseless stories the Daily Guide has been publishing just to injure the reputation of innocent Ghanaians.

Talking about Freddie Blay; he should be bow down his head in deep shame for attempting to pull a veil over the foolish comments of Ayisi-Boateng.

Somebody should tell Freddie Blay that sometimes it is better to keep quiet so he does not expose certain weak portions of his reasoning capacity.

The nonsense is becoming too much!  Haba!!!

Honestly, my heart is bleeding badly for Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana and it is my prayer that all well-meaning Ghanaians rise up for all of us to begin to RESIST OPPRESSORS RULE WITH ALL OUR WILL AND MIGHT FOREVERMORE!!!

I rest my case for now and pray we meet again same time next week under the shade-giving Umbrella.

Adieus Amigos.

Koku  Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary, NDC

CEO/Founder, Atta-Mills Institute (AMI)

When the NDC was in power, the NPP was in opposition and praying for an Arab-Spring-like uprising to oust the ruling government.

With the support of surrogate groups such as, Occupy Ghana, Imani, AFAG, Let My Vote Count Alliance, etc., the NPP was praying for a social revolution.

Well, for the information of Nana Akufo-Addo and his IMPOTENT NPP Government, if they are not careful, the Arab Spring will happen sooner than later.

The rage and anger that is brewing amongst many Ghanaians as a result of the excruciating living conditions vis-à-vis the lavish lifestyles of the, Family, Friends, Cronies, and Concubines (FFCC) Akufo-Addo led Government, can lead to a massive social revolution.

There is too much discontent on the ground and if care is not taken, there will be an unstoppable Uprising that will force the President and his thieving cronies to run out of the country into self-imposed exile.

I have run my corn aground ooo … let the fowls peck!

No More Incompetence: Crass Impotence Galore!!!!

When they were busy labelling the NDC as being “Incompetent”; many are those who may have believed in their competence, hence the decision to try them and see.

President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia and their hirelings and underlings are now in-charge of managing the affairs of Ghana, and all they are exhibiting is a high octane level of CRASS IMPOTENCE. Phew!!!

Impotent Leaders who are destroying Nkrumah’s Ghana.

They were talking as if they had the magic wand to turn Ghana into a land flowing with milk and honey overnight.

They were talking as if they were going to fill the homes of Ghanaians with loads of money if given the chance to rule.

They were talking as if unemployment was going to vanish with the speed of lightening.

They have been in power for 10 months and are showcasing nothing but Crass and Gross Impotence!

At least, incompetent persons perform but do so in an incompetent manner. When it comes to impotence, there is no performance at all!!!!

It has now come to light that the men who were busy labelling other men as incompetent; are none other than a bunch of IMPOTENT men who cannot function at all.

Is it not very annoying and extremely worrying the way President Akufo-Addo is superintending over an IMPOTENT security system that has lost all its bearings and sitting idly by and watching sponsored NPP gangs and goon squads take the laws into their hands and holding the whole nation to ransom?

Never in the political history of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana, have we had such an IMPOTENT government that has allowed the country to live in a state of heightened insecurity and lawlessness.

Meanwhile, this is a government that has the highest number of Ministers as well as the highest number of persons in-charge of the Security apparatus, yet, it is the only Government that is exhibiting such GROSS IMPOTENCE when it comes to handling the security of the state.

Why should it be so?

We have the President who is the Commander-in-Chief; we have the Vice President who is head of the Armed Forces and Police Councils; We have an Interior Minister and his two deputies; we have a Defence Minister and his two Deputies; we have a Minister for National Security; We have a Security Co-ordinator; we have a National Security Advisor and we have Security Co-ordinators in all the Regions and Districts; We have Regional Ministers and MMDCEs who are in-charge of security in their Regions, Municipals and Districts.

We have an IGP and his Regional and District commanders.

So, why should we have so many people on the payroll of Government yet be allowing goon squads to be operating with such brazen impunity?

It is only under the watch of this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can be beating up serving police officers in uniform and get away with it.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can be beating up police officers in the Regions and Districts.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can openly notify police commanders that their offices will be ransacked, and they are allowed to carry out their threats.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can beat up a Regional Security Coordinator and be walking scot-free.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can storm police stations and release their fellow criminals who are on remand.

It is only under the watch of this IMPOTENT NPP Government that a serving Major of the revered Ghana Armed Forces can be brutally murdered and the autopsy report cannot still be produced.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can threaten the President and dare him to arrest them and face their wrath.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that hoodlums can take-over the Kintampo Waterfalls and cause the death of 18 innocent school children.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that a National Security Minister will be insulted and derided by an MP of his Party for issuing a notice of arrest to the hoodlums.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that an MP of theirs can openly boast that he is the paymaster of the hoodlums.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that the Acting National Chairman will openly lend his support to the nefarious activities of his Party’s hoodlums.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that the nation has sat down to allow Army Worms to invade vast hectors of farm lands and destroyed food crops, which portends danger for us by way of a looming hunger.

It is only under this IMPOTENT NPP Government that headmasters and headmistress have been gagged and prevented from voicing out their deep genuine concerns about how the so-called Free Form One SHS policy is going to create future problems for our education sector because the monies promised by Government is not reaching the schools for them to take care of the students.

When the NPP was busy referring to the NDC as a supposedly Incompetent Government; little did we know that they were a bunch of IMPOTENT elephants who were looking for political power only to satisfy their inordinate desire for power, and not because they had any brilliant ideas to make Ghana a heaven on earth.

Having fun and blowing State money while their Impotent Government is turning Nkrumah’s Ghana into a lawless State.

Now that it is as clear as daylight that the NPP is made up of CRASS IMPOTENT elephants, let us tag them with the epithet of “IMPOTENCE”, and make sure it sticks on them!!

Is not a shame that all the so-called “Nyansafuor” men of God are no more speaking?

Is it not a shame that most of the Civil Society Groups that used to condemn the Atta Mills and John Mahama Administrations for doing nothing close to the negative and IMPOTENT rule of the NPP, are no more talking?

God is watching these men.

Is it not shame that the persons and groups who used to condemn the Mahama-led NDC Administration for engaging in a Family and Friends Government, are not condemning the extremely nauseating, tribal, ethnic, family, friends, Government of Akufo-Addo?

Conscienceless journalists who are having fun and don’t give a hoot about the wanton lawlessness and the gagging of media houses. They support the re-introduction of the obnoxious Culture Of Silence.

One fine day, we shall all met at the bosom of the Most High and give account of our stewardship on earth and it is there that we shall know the true saints and the agents of the devils.

Conscienceless journalists who are having fun and don’t give a hoot about the wanton lawlessness and the gagging of media houses. They support the re-introduction of the obnoxious Culture Of Silence.

I am sorry that I have not met with you under the shade-giving Umbrella for a fortnight; I have been very busy with the NDC’s Branch re-organisation and re-registration exercise that is why I have not been under the Umbrella.

Hopefully, we shall meet again under the shade-giving Umbrella next week.

2020: WE GO SHOW NANA!!!!!!

NDC Deputy General Secretary & National Organiser plotting re-organization and Agenda 2020.

Adieus Amigos.

Koku Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary (NDC)

Founder/CEO, Atta-Mills Institute (AMI)

I am entreating all members of the NDC to ignore the fake stories that the Daily Guide has been publishing to create confusion, and sow seeds of discord within the NDC.

The NPP is fully aware that a well-organised NDC, SHALL take the political power away from them in 2020 and continue to build a Better Ghana, and so they want to knock heads together within the NDC.

I have picked up very credible information from within the NPP that, they will throw out poisonous information into the system to tell LIES that some very POTENT NDC members leaked the fake Kwesi Botcwey Report to them.

Let us be on alert and deal drastically with the Daily Guide and the NPP if they begin to LIE that the fake Report they are serialising, was given to them by NDC members.

Akufo-Addo & Bawumia: A Pathetic Pathological Lying Duo!!!

There is no denying the fact that the current President and Vice President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana, are carving a very DISGRACEFUL and unenvious niche for themselves as, Ghana’s LYING DUO!

Having steeped their inordinate desire for power in the belly of LIES, and having secured a dodgy mandate to misrule the nation, they must be deluding themselves into believing that Ghanaians have sawdust in our heads because of the nauseating manner in which they continue to spew lies all over the place.

Why this revolting obsession about telling LIES?

What is making the President and his Vice believe that they can govern Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana on LIES?

Is it not a big SHAME that day in, day out, the President and his Vice are caught pants down telling a plethora of LIES?

If it was only Bawumia who is striving to wear the ignominious crown of LIES, I would have ignored him because it is ipso facto that the current Vice President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana was conceived in LIES and given birth to on a bed of LIES.

As things stand now, it is as clear as daylight that President Akufo-Addo is fast overtaking Bawumia in the DISGRACEFUL race of LIES.

Instead of the President living above the LIES that the Vice President has been spewing all over the place, the President is rather in a hurry to sink deeper than his Vice, into the stinking and muddy pit of lies.  Damn!!!

I heard the President when he was commissioning the Wa Water Project, and I cringed.

Who on earth convinced the President to tell a BIG FAT LIE as regards the history surrounding the commencement of the Wa Water Project?

Where the heck did the President get the idea from that the Project commenced during the period of President John Agyekum Kufuor?

More than enough evidence abounds to prove that the Project began under the watch of President John Evans Atta Mills, and was continued by President John Dramani Mahama.

Akufo-Addo has only commissioned a project that was virtually completed before he LIED his way to power and instead of him being humble enough to acknowledge the work that was done before he stampeded his way into power, he rather chooses to tell the kind of LIE that leaves one drenched in sweaty and stinking odour.

All who care to know, know that the money for the Project was secured from the Republic of Korea in 2012, when President Atta Mills was in-charge of the affairs of State, and the indefatigable Dr. Kwabena Dufuor, was the Finance Minister.

A Ghana News Agency (GNA) Report dated, April 30, 2012, reads as follows:

“Ghana and the Republic of Korea on Monday singed two loan on agreements totalling $122.7 million dollars to boost the supply of water and meet the increasing demand for electricity.

An amount of 55.5 million dollars will be used to implement the Wa water supply system development project, while 67.2 million dollars is earmarked for the Prestea-Kumasi Power Enhancement Project.

The two loans have an interest rate of 0.5 percent per annum and the government is required under the deal to provide counterpart funding of 15% of the total project cost.

Dr Duffuor, said the Wa Water project would not only improve the existing water supply situation in the city but also help eliminate the incidence of the guinea worm in the Wa Municipality and its surrounding areas.  Besides, he said, the project would also boost socio-economic development of the area.

Dr. Duffuor said the loan for the power enhancement project would enable the Ghana Gold Company Limited to develop the 330kv Prestea and Kumasi Substation transmission lines to meet the increasing demand for electricity transmission and distribution across the country.

Mr. Kyun Jea-Min said the signing of the agreement would open a new chapter for an upgraded Economic Development Co-operation Fund of the two countries.

He said Korea had designated Ghana as a priority country for official development assistance, including long-term loans and grants for the period 2011-2015.”

According to this designation, Korea considers unprecedentedly increasing ODA to Ghana’s infrastructure building and socio-economic development for the said period”.

There is also the Parliamentary Hansard of October 31, 2012, that neatly details the debate, as well as the approval of the Loan Agreement between the Government of Ghana and Export Import Bank of Korea.

So, why the unnecessary and uncalled for, need for the President to embarrass himself with such gargantuan lies?

Should the President not be bowing his head in shame for LYING to the people of Ghana?

Was Kufuor in power in 2012?  No!!!

Was the NPP in power in 2012?  No!!!

In 2012, was Akufo-Addo not busy in opposition preaching his extremely dangerous “ALL DIE BE DIE” sermon and wishing WAR upon Ghana because of his INORDINATE desire to become President “AT ALL COST”?

In 2012, was Anthony Karbo not taking a cue from Akufo-Addo’s ALL DIE BE DIE war cry, and wishing Afghanistan upon Ghana?

In 2012, was Sammy Awuku not asking the youth of the NPP to use “WORMAFUNU” to crush the heads of NDC members?

In 2102, was the imbecilic Kennedy Agyepong not calling on Akans to behead and totally annihilate Ewes and Gas in Ashanti Region?

So, if the loan agreement for the Wa Water Project was signed in 2012 by the hardworking Atta Mills/Mahama Administration, why should Akufo-Addo shamefully LIE that the loan was secured by the Kufuor Administration?

So, why did Akufo-Addo choose to LIE about the funding of the Wa Water Project and end up with rotten eggs and rotten tomatoes all over his face?

Is it not a pure case of extreme folly doused in banality, for the NPP to be saying that the loan facility was secured by the Kufuor Administration and the Atta Mills-Mahama as well as the Mahama-Amissah Arthur Administrations left the project unattended to, until Akufo-Addo took over this year and completed the project?

Is the Wa Water Project a hen coup, or goat pen, which was constructed in the last 8 months?  Haba!!!

The NPP should credit us with a bit of common-sense!

How can a $55.7 million project be started and completed in only 8 months?

Honestly, I cannot believe that sane minds can be vomiting such rubbish from the inner recesses of their brain cells!

Would Akufo-Addo have ceased to be President if he had openly acknowledged that it was the NDC that initiated the Wa Water Project Certainly not!

After all, it is the name of Akufo-Addo that is on the plaque, so what could it have cost him if had told the truth and not draped himself in a filthy garb of LIES?

Why the need to for the President to grossly embarrass himself by claiming credit that is not due him and the NPP?

I recall with nostalgia the late President Atta Mills inviting President Kufuor to the commissioning of the N1 (George Bush) Highway because in spite of the fact that it was the Atta Mills Administration that completed the Project, it is a matter of fact that the Project began during the period of President Kufuor.

It is so sad that, after President Atta Mills and President Mahama sought to move away from Kufour’s extremely DIVISIVE style of leadership, and move the nation onto the landscape of the politics of INCLUSION, Akufo-Addo has decided to turn the clock of progress backwards and walk the nation into a more severe form of puking DIVISIVE POLITICS.

Of course, the divisive politics in Ghana began when Akufo-Addo’s father, Edward Akufo-Addo, K.A Busia and co, traitorously supported the American CIA to oust the great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in the bloody 1966 coup, and destroyed all the good works that Osaygefo did, as well as the failed attempt to destroy the image of the Founder and first President of the Republic of Ghana.

It is a BIG SHAME that all the gains chalked under the astute LEADERSHIP of the NDC to UNITE this dear country of ours, has been fast-eroded and destroyed by the awfully BAD leaderless rule of Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

Only God knows how this dear country of ours is going to be able to heal wounds and build bridges going into the future.

Akufo-Addo’s CLUELESS leadership style and the excessive division that it is causing, does not bode well for the unity of Mother Ghana.

From the look of things, it is as clear as daylight that Akufo-Addo SHALL be BOOTED out of office in 2020, but for goodness sake; he should not destroy the image of Ghana and Ghana’s Presidency with his DESPICABLE and HORRENDOUS style of hoggish leadership!

I rest my case for now and pray we can meet again same time next under the shade-giving Umbrella.

Hastaluego Amigos.

Koku Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary (NDC)

Founder/CEO Atta Mills Institute (AMI).

Did I hear the President say that he met an “empty coffers”?

Did the President really say that?  Yehowa!!!

What does the President take us for?

Does he thinks that he is governing a foolish country full of idiots?

He met an empty coffers yet was able to appoint the highest number of ministers ever in the history of Ghana?

He met an empty coffers but has over-bloated the government payroll by appointing the highest ever number of, Presidential Staffers, Aides, so-called Special Assistants, as well as Deputy Managing Directors of State Owned Enterprises?

He met an empty coffers but was able to get his cousin the Finance Minister to allocate the highest budget ever to the Office of the President?

He met an empty coffers but was able to travel to the UN General Assembly with the highest ever number of hangers-on, family and friends, to go and be chopping our money “waa waa waa”; sleeping in expensive hotels, popping expensive champagnes in expensive restaurants, and hiring very expensive limousines?

Honestly, the President should give us a break!!!

The annoying attempts by the President to at all times, insult the intelligence of Ghanaians, is becoming too much and he must quickly put a STOP to it before he forces others to give him a taste of his own bitter pill ooooooo.  Ayoooo!!!!

Celebrating Kwame Nkrumah – Let Us Not Forget Western Sahara.

How great a day it was last Thursday, September 21, 2017; when the NDC in conjunction with patriots and progressive forces, embarked on a Solidarity March, to commemorate Ghana’s Founder’s Day celebration in Accra.

Since Ghana swung into its fourth Republican dispensation in 1992, I am not too sure I have ever seen such a mammoth gathering on the streets of Accra as I saw last Thursday.

Indeed, why should we not celebrate the Father of Africa’s Liberation Struggle?

Why should we not celebrate the man who lit the flame that lighted the path of the Gold Coast’s struggle to become a free nation?

Why should we not celebrate the man whose unwavering and resilient fighting spirit, led the Gold Coast to lower the Union Jack (British Flag) on the 6th of March, 1957, and the hoisting high of the, red, gold, green and black star flag of the new and independent Republic of Ghana?

Why should we not celebrate the man who gave us; Ghana National Anthem, Ghana National Pledge, Ghana Airways, Black Star Line, Ghana Railways, Ghana Black Stars, Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police, Akosombo Dam, Tema Mortoway, Tema Harbour etc?

Why should we not celebrate the man whose visionary thinking bridged the gap between the North and South via sending of Free Education up country?

I ask; why should we not celebrate the Great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the Founder and First President of the Republic of Ghana?

As we celebrate Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, I cannot forget to also celebrate the late President John Evans Atta Mills, for giving Osagyefo his rightful and well-deserved place of honour and pride; and making it possible for us to celebrate September 21st, as FOUNDER’S DAY.

I do recall how President Atta Mills was given a standing ovation at the 2010 African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa after his ebullient eulogising of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah; after which the AU adopted 21st September as a Special Day on its calendar.

President Atta Mills: his greatness will never be forgotten.

It was at that same Summit that a new statue of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was unveiled at the forecourt of the new AU Building in Addis Abba.

That is the solid extent to which Nkrumah has become entrenched and etched on the history of Africa.

Kwame Nkrumah’s statue at the forecourt of the AU building in Addis Ababa.

As far as I am concerned, the needless and extremely useless and senseless attempts by Akufo-Addo and his small Akyem cabal within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to obfuscate and blur the true role of Kwame Nkrumah in the Independence Struggle, shall not stop the Facts from being the Facts.

Indeed, the more the senseless attempts to bury Osagyefo, the more Nkruamah will NEVER DIE!!!

If Thursday’s massive and mammoth turnout for the Solidarity March is anything to go by, then Akufo-Addo and his handful of Kyebi cabal who want to make J.B. Danquah look more important than Kwame Nkrumah, should be alive to the fact that there will be an unstoppable MASS RESISTANCE MOVEMENT, if they DARE mess up with Ghana’s history.

Any attempt to distort and re-write Ghana’s history shall rather force all true PATRIOTS, NATIONALISTS, and PROGRESSIVE FORCES, to consciously and conscientiously draw the attention of the younger generations to the extremely DARK ROLES of the likes of, J.B. Danquah, Edward Akufo-Addo, K.A Busia and co, played in both frustrating Nkrumah in his quest to gain independence for the Gold Coast, and also, supporting the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States to stage the 1966 Coup that ousted Nkrumah and truncated Ghana’s fast take-off into real Economic Independence.

J.B Danquah & Busia: Self-seeking traitors and surrogates of the Imperialists forces.

The feeding of the brains of the Younger Generations, shall be so CEREBRAL in nature so as to give such teachings the rock-hard foundations that will kill all the negative ethnic-bigotry-led attempts to drown what is true, and fly what is condemnably false.

Incidentally, 21st September also brings back very sad moments; as it also marks the day on which one of my greatest political mentors, Professor Kofi Nyidevu Awoonor, met death in Kenya when some rogues calling themselves Al Shabab militants, struck at the West End Mall in Nairobi.

Professor Kofi Awoonor: a great Nkrumahist & nationalist.

Professor Awoonor was one of Kwame Nkrumah’s protégés, and it is not surprising that even in death, fate has kept the umbilical cord of Awoonor tied to his political mentor, the Great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

May the soul of Professor Kofi Nyidevu Awoonor continue to rest peacefully in the mangrove of his ancestors!

As we celebrate the greatness and solid works of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in Ghana and elsewhere across the African Continent and also across the World, I am wondering if Osagyefo will be 100% happy wherever he is.

Besides the senseless noises coming from Akufo-Addo and his handful of Kyebi cabal and some media acolytes as regards changing the Founder’s Day to August 4th, a MAJOR issue that could be affecting the 100% perfect peaceful rest of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, is the fact that the fight to liberate our brothers and sisters in Western Sahara seems to be abating.

For those of us who believe that “Ghana’s independence is meaningless unless it is linked with the total liberation of the African Continent”, we cannot forget the people of the Western Sahara or the Saharawi Arab Republic, as we celebrate the man who lit the flame for the African Liberation Struggle.

We CANNOT allow Morocco to join the African Union without a firm commitment to respecting a long-standing United Nations Resolution which gives space for the people of the Western Sahara to hold a Referendum to determine their destiny to self-rule.

Did Morocco not decide voluntarily to opt out of the then Organisation of African Unity (OAU) because of its obnoxious stance on refusing to allow the people of the Western Sahara to determine their right to self-govern?

Why is Morocco being admitted into the African Union when it is still stubbornly REFUSING to respect the existing UN Resolution that speaks loudly to the fact that the people of the Saharawi Arab Republic must be allowed to hold a referendum to determine whether they want to still remain slaves to the autocratic Moroccan regime, or they want to be free people with a right to govern themselves and also have access to their arable lands and natural resources – including maritime resources.

I have personally made 2 trips to the Refugee Settlements in the Dhakla Refugee Camp in the Saharawi Arab Republic, and I share deeply in the pain being inflicted on innocent human beings by Morocco.

Koku Anyidoho in the Dahkla Refugee Camp of Western Sahara in solidarity with Saharawi Arab Republic.

Living in the refugee camp; especially in the winter time, is an experience that I will forever live with and it is an experience that will make me continue to fight for the people of Western Sahara to have their full blown independence.

It is not fair to the people of the Western Sahara to be living in such challenging conditions when Morocco is sitting on their lands and depriving them of having access to the natural wealth that God has freely given to them for their use and to live more comfortable lives.

The Oppression and Suppression that Morocco is inflicting upon Western Sahara is HIGHLY untenable and on the occasion of the commemoration of the Founder’s Day celebration in Ghana, it will be remiss on my part if I do not remember the profound words of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nrkumah “…The independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked with the total liberation of the African Continent…” – and continue to beat the drums for the TOTAL emancipation of the African Continent by calling on Morocco to end its occupation and grant the people of Western Sahara the RIGHT to self-rule.

It is grossly unacceptable for Morocco to continue to deprive the people of the Western Sahara their inalienable RIGHT to govern themselves.

Why should an African Country be allowed to enslave another group of Africans?

All Progressive Forces must continue to shout out and keep the fire burning under the feet of Morocco; the People of the Saharawi Arab Republic have been in servitude for TOO LONG and if Morocco is walking into the AU, much more pressure must be brought to bear for a firm commitment to be made to give a clear roadmap for the full and total emancipation of the Western Sahara.

Long live the undying emancipation spirit of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Long live 21st September as Founder’s Day.

Long Live Mother Ghana.

I rest my case for now and pray we meet again next week under the shade-giving Umbrella.

Koku Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary, NDC

Founder/CEO Atta Mills Institute (AMI)

So, is it true that Akuffo-Addo travelled to the United Nations General Assembly, with a 100+ man entourage?

I have been seeing some pictures flying all over social media and I am in no doubt that Akufo-Addo most definitely travelled with a very heavy entourage at the expense of the state.

I have been seeing pictures of Akufo-Addo, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the Chairman of the Council of State, Dasebre Otuo Siriboe, popping very expensive champagne and blowing Ghana money “waa waa waa”.

Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and Akufo-Addo blowing Ghana’s money and having fun at the expense of the taxpayer.

In the picture I have seen, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey is in a heightened state of ecstasy, with her hands up in the air like an 18 year old at her prom night.

“Dem dey chop Ghana money fuka fuka fuka” Swa!!!!

His Royal Highness the King of the Kyebi Mafia is in New York blowing the taxpayers money “waa waa waa” while parents and students cannot find Senior High Schools to attend.

Husband & wife kissing while parents can’t get schools for their kids.

His Royal Highness the King of the Kyebi Mafia is sleeping in expensive hotels in New York with his wife and family members, while petrol prices are going up on a daily basis in Ghana.

His Royal Highness the King of the Kyebi Mafia is distributing the taxpayers money to Gabby Otchere-Darko and other family members like confetti at a wedding, when army worms and termites are ravaging large hectares of farm lands.

Citi FM’s CEO, Samuel Atta Mensah toasting expensive champagne in New York while petrol prices are going up in Ghana.

If Akufo-Addo and his group are not keeping their eyes on the calendar, I want to remind them that they have done almost one year, and the other three years will come in no time.

Questionable Blanket Free Education: Capitalists Mocking Themselves Into Utopian Socialism?

Last week, we heard the current President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana blurt out; “All hail free education”!

According the President and his followers, education is now freeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Is education really free in Ghana?

Nana Akufo-Addo and his people, must be thinking that we have so soon forgotten the exact promises they made on the campaign trail when they were making all kinds of ugly noises and promising to give Ghanaians “FREE EDUCATION UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL”.

I have been combing through the 2016 Manifesto of the NPP and precisely in CHAPTER 9, which deals with the policy on EDUCATION, the NPP stated categorically that they will provide “FREE EDUCATION UP TO SENIOR HIGH”.

On page 104 of the Manifesto, inter alia,

“The NPP believes that all the hopes of Ghanaians for a bright future will come to naught unless the country is able to resolve its education crisis. That is why the NPP declares Education to be a MAJOR PRIORITY and commits itself to a BOLD, CREATIVE and VISIONARY and ALL-EMBRACING PROGRAM for the TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION IN GHANA. The core elements of the Program shall be a free education for Ghanaian children UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (caps mine) to ease the burden on parents and guardians while encouraging them to assume their responsibility for the social upbringing and parental control of their children”.

In simple and plain language, the NPP promised to give us free education from kindergarten UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Indeed, when the President recently appeared at a Speech and Prize Giving Day ceremony at the Okuapamen Senior High School, he reiterated the point that education was going to be FREE from kindergarten UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

In no time; and knowing that it CANNOT give free education from kindergarten up to senior high school, the NPP used its media machinery to hide the manifesto pledge of FREE EDUCATION UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, and kept drowning our eardrums with FREE SHS; FREE SHS; FREE SHS.

Realizing that even the FREE SHS is not financially feasible, the NPP now decided to drown our eardrums with FREE SHS FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS.

So, I ask; where is the FREE EDUCATION UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, that the NPP loudly trumpeted on every rooftop and on every mountain top?

Does the NPP think that its media propaganda that FREE EDUCATION has started, is what will make education free in Ghana?

Even with the first year students; is their education really free?

Are parents still not buying; trunks, chop box, sandals, uniforms, cutlass, hoes, brooms, toiletries, mattress, blankets, bedsheets, church cloths, etc?Wherein lies the free education?

So just because government is absorbing tuition and feeding fees, that is enough to be trumpeting free education to the high heavens and claiming victory where there is no victory?

Besides, is this the first time that a government has absorbed feeding and tuition fees? Certainly not!!!

It is crystal clear that the NPP; which is a RIGHT WING party, has run into a cul-de-sac with its capitalist ideas and so is engaging in populist rhetoric to score very fleeting and cheap political points.

The NPP is trying too hard to be more SOCIALIST than the SOCIALIST NDC, and the result is that, the NPP is making a mockery of itself by engaging in Utopian Socialism.

Even hard-core Marxist Socialist do not believe in Utopian Socialism so it is no wonder that the NPP is running itself into a world of MOCKERY by its dreamy attempt to create an IDEAL WORLD OF FREE EDUCATION.

When capitalists try to outrun socialists via socialist oriented policies, it becomes akin to the case of “the invited guest crying more than the bereaved”.

Political parties all over the world, are driven by Ideologies and are inspired by a cluster of principles and philosophies.

The NPP has NEVER believed in any form of SOCIAL DEMOCRACY so it is amazing how they are in a hurry to implement Socialist oriented policies.

The NPP is very much aware that when it comes to the area of EDUCATION; the NDC has an unparalleled and impeccable record.

From President Rawlings, through President Atta Mills, to President Mahama, the NDC’s outstanding record in the education sector CANNOT AND CAN NEVER be matched by the NPP.

It is this knowledge that the NPP CANNOT match the Education Sector record of the NDC, that is forcing the NPP to engage in this kamikaze FREE EDUCATION which has no HEAD nor TAIL.

I have had personal engagements with lots of School Heads who are deeply concerned about the rush to implement a policy that has no HEAD nor TAIL.

What is all this NONSENSE about Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), not being allowed to pay dues? Ahba!!!

Are PTAs not voluntary associations? Since when did it become a crime for Voluntary Associations to pay dues?

The NPP has found itself in a deep mess because as part of its campaign of noise-making and empty propaganda, they promised to absorb all PTA dues as part of their FREE EDUCATION pledge.

Alive now to the fact that it was a foolish pledge to attempt to absorb PTA dues; but still wanting parents to believe that PTA dues are no more; School authorities are being denied the RIGHT to get parents to pay a TOKEN for the upkeep of their children/wards.

Since when did it become a crime for responsible parents to contribute a TOKEN for the upkeep and wellbeing of their children/wards in schools?

Since “19 kojo hoho”, have parents not been contributing to build, classrooms, dormitories, toilets, staff accommodation, etc?

Have parents not be contributing to provide, furniture, water, and other amenities?

So what is all this nonsensical hocus-pocus populist policy of denying PTAs the RIGHT to collect dues?

So, is Akufo-Addo telling us that if for example, the manhole of a Girls Dormitory in Tanyigbe SHS gets full, the headmistress should write to Ghana Education Service (GES), to release funds for the excreta in the manhole to be cleared?

Is Akufo-Addo telling us that if the Girls Dormitory in Anyako SHS has no mosquito nets, the Headmistress cannot ask parents to help replace the nets; and must only wait for the GES to release funds for that to be done?

What kind of barbaric draconian policy is this?

Enjoyment gallore; President Akuffo-Addo & his associates are having fun whiles Ghana’s education system is collapsing.

Are we in a democracy or we are now in a civilian dictatorship?

So if parents can afford to help schools with medical supplies, they should not do so and watch their wards get ill?

At this rate, it will not be long before the NPP tells us not to pay tithes in churches because the government will absorb and pay all the tithes on behalf of church members.

When policies are not well thought out; this the kind of MADNESS that arises.

Once again, I repeat that when CAPITALISTS want to be more SOCIALIST than SOCIALISTS, the end result SHALL be nothing than CHAOS and ANARCHY.

It is a matter of fact that, only 20% of funds have been released to Schools.

How are the schools expected to operate at 100% capacity when only 20% of funds have been released?

And when Parents want to support, the School Heads are referred to as “Thieves and Extortionists”? Nonsense!!!

Now, parents are being compelled to rent hostels for their 12,13,14 year old children/wards because of a populist Free Education policy which has put a cap on the number of students that can be admitted into boarding houses.

So who is going to look after the 12,13,14 year olds in the hostels?

Is this not a clear recipe for disaster? What kind of nonsensical FREE EDUCATION policy is this?

Instead of giving our 12,13,14 year olds quality education under the protection and eagle eyes of School Heads, Akufo-Addo and his NPP are now leaving our kids at the mercy of self-management and self-survival.

Even under the eagle eyes of School Authorities in boarding schools, we know how some kids run riot and go astray.

So if we now leave our kids to manage themselves, is it not clear that we are going to have many more cases of waywardness?

I rest my case for now and will surely be back on this issue many more times under the Shade-giving Umbrella.

Hastaluego Amigos!

Did I read somewhere that Kwaku Baako said that Akufo-Addo is the new Kwame Nkrumah? Is it true what I read?

Honestly, when people succeed in mortgaging their consciences to the dictates of their stomachs and pockets, it is sad the way their brain cells function.

What has Akufo-Addo done in 8 months that makes him the new Nkrumah?

Is it the senseless attempt to obliterate the memory of the great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, and replace it with the traitorous image of J.B. Danquah?

Or is it the extremely disgusting and disgraceful plagiarised speech on his inauguration day that makes Akufo-Addo the new Nkrumah?

Akufo-Addo the new Nkrumah? Apuuuutorrrr!!!!

Anyway, Kwaku Baako is now a political spent-force and a dinosaur so I will not waste too much time on his words.
